Please support our family!

We are walking in the American Heart Association Start! Heart Walk, where every step is instilling change in those participating. A change for wellness. For health. For research. For hope. Dustin and I will be walking on September 19th in honor of our son, Dylan Blake, who was born with Tetralogy of Fallot which is a congenital heart defect. Congenital heart defects are the #1 birth defect and the #1 cause of death under the age of one.

Doctors, like Dylan’s, are saving babies lives all over the world, whereas these babies would have died without these medical procedures in the past. This can be contributed to the research and support of the American Heart Association. Dylan is now one and is a healthy boy that has no signs of what he has been through except for his scar from his open heart surgery. He is the toughest person we know and we cannot imagine our lives without him.

We are so thankful that there is an organization like the AHA that aides in the saving of lives in more ways than one. Now that Dylan’s surgeries are behind us and the future is looking bright, we are participating in the Start! Heart Walk in order to give back since we have been given so much.

My personal goal is to raise $500 for the American Heart Association and I need your help to reach my donation goal. We are raising critical dollars for not only defects like Dylan’s, but also for heart disease, stroke research and education.

There are a few ways that you can contribute:
You can go to my personal donation page where you can make a secure online credit card donation: http://heartwalk.kintera.org/indy/dylansmomma
I also have a link posted on our blog for donations: http://www.dustinemilynichols.blogspot.com/

The American Heart Association's online fundraising website has a minimum donation amount of $25.00. If you prefer to donate less, you can do so by sending a check made payable to the American Heart Association directly to me at:

31 Lake Drive North
Brownsburg, IN 46112

Thank you for your love, support and encouragement! Your donation will help in changing the lives of many people!
